Relaxing at the camp

This 16 in. x 20 in. painting entitled “Relaxing at the Camp”, commemorating the 1907-2007 World Scouting Centennial, also represents the first scout camp on Brownsea Island in 1907. This painting was done by Mrs. Estelle Nadeau, an up-and-coming professional artist from Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada. It shows Baden-Powell and his assistants planning the activities for the following day. The original photo for this painting was taken from the cover of the Boy Scout handbook (referred to as the ‘Scouting Bible’).
